This document is separated in to two sections, the test specification and the test procedure.
The test specification section defines the purpose of the test, the test approach, the item under test, test sequence, test facility, pass/fail criteria, required documentation, participants and test schedule.
The test report section gives directions for conducting a test activity in terms of description, resources, constraints and provides detailed step‐by‐step instructions for conducting test activities with the selected test facility and set‐up.
This TSP aims to verify one requirement.
The purpose of this test is to assess the heat resistance of the camera by directing a hair dryer at it to determine if the video quality degrades due to thermal effects. Specifically, we are looking to observe whether the heat causes the recorded video to deteriorate or if an opaque ring appears on the camera lens, affecting image clarity.
Testing Objectives: The test has two main objectives:
Testing Methods: The camera will be placed in a secure position, with a hair dryer aimed directly at the lens from a fixed distance (e.g., 10 cm). The hair dryer will operate at maximum heat setting for a continuous duration of 5 minutes. Throughout the test, the camera will record video, and the footage will be analyzed for any signs of visual degradation or the appearance of an opaque ring on the lens.
Test Environment: The test will ideally be conducted in a indoor environment.
Test Data and Scenarios: To validate the test:
Equipment Required:
The test will be organised once the camera will be delivred.

The test set-up is very simple and involves a hair dryer, a timer, the camera and a secured mount or fixture to hold the camera in place.

We will not use any precise instrumentation. We will only check if the lens is damaged and if the video quality remains good.
The test will be located at home or on campus it's not very important. The condition of the room shall not impact the test outcome.
I will be the only participant because the test is very safe and simple.
