The EPFL Rocket Team's executive management, comprising the President and the Executive Vice-President, plays pivotal roles in steering the team towards its strategic objectives and maintaining its operational excellence.

Providing a clear and inspiring vision for the association, aligning with its core values and objectives.
In order to do so it is recommended to write all the ideas and objectives you have for the association and management to come during the summer before the beginning of the academic year. It is the first step to be able to implement these ideas during the year.

Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the association's resources, budgets, and activities.
As an exectuive manager of the association you not only have to have a good overview of the technical aspects of the projects and how they are evolving but also an in depth view of the associations's resources and budegts. You will be deciding how the budgets are allocated to the different activites of the association and it is key to know everything there is to know about money
Steering and coordinating the association's management
You will also be responsible of coordinating the different poles of the management meaning you have to have a good understanding of the procedures of each pole. You can find more information on them here below:
Regularly communicating with team members and external stakeholders
Communication is key! Not only in relationships but also in managing an association! For external communications you have a communication team that is here to help you but for internal communication it is up to you to make sure the members of the association are aware of what's going on in the association. Slack is your best friend in this case!
Balancing professional standards with student-centric approaches
A huge role you have as an executive manager is to represent the association. You have to do so in a clear and professinal manner but at the same time keeping true to your identity of being a student. Balancing the two can be very challenging!
Acting as key representatives in various forums and discussions
What will probably be the most time-consuming yet at the same time the most beneficial for the association will be participating in events representing the team, fostering partnership with other student-led groups and be active inside the EPFL campus and the space industry.
